Michelangelo’s Sistine Chapel: The Exhibition has been extended until November 2, 2023 at the second floor of Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.
This international traveling exhibit features photographic recreations of the Italian Renaissance master’s breathtaking frescoes from the Sistine Chapel and the Last Judgement.
The exhibit, which is in part sponsored by Security Bank and organized in partnership with ATIN Global Inc., brings 34 high-quality and life-sized Genesis scenes depicted on the Sistine Chapel ceiling from never-before-seen perspectives.
“At Security Bank, we recognize the important role that financial institutions play in nation-building and sustainable development. Apart from our advocacies in education, health and wellness, enterprise and livelihood development, community-building through arts and culture is near and dear to us,” Sanjiv Vohra, President and CEO of Security Bank, said during the opening last month.
“It’s evident that art appreciation has seen a resurgence. We’re glad that, in our own way, we’re able to contribute to the promotion of art and culture and carry on investing in what matters to our communities,” Vohra added.
In line with the pillars of its mission to enrich lives, empower businesses, and build communities sustainably, Security Bank regularly supports various arts and culture initiatives.
This year, the bank celebrated National Heritage Month and the Filipino Heritage Festival with a series of exhibits and forums to promote Filipino cultural heritage.
Security Bank also recently sponsored the 2023 ArteFino Festival which focused on sustainable design practices and commerce. The Bank continues its partnership with the National Museum of the Philippines via Security Bank Hall at the National Museum of Fine Arts which showcases 14 sculptures of National Artist Guillermo Tolentino.
