Restomod Porsche 911 showcased at Goodwood

THEON Design has proudly showcased its latest creation, the ITA001, at the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed. This bespoke, carbon-bodied Porsche 911 commission, based on the 911 (964) model, was specifically built for a customer in Italy. The exhibition took place at TracTive’s display, as part of the renowned motoring event held at Goodwood House. With a crowd of over 200,000 expected to attend, Theon Design seized the opportunity to present their handcrafted masterpiece to an international audience.

The ITA001 stands out with its lightweight carbon body, 400bhp 4.0-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine, and advanced features like the 5-stage selectable semi-active suspension by TracTive. Weighing in at just 1152kg, this fully-restored vehicle combines the allure of the classic air-cooled 911 with modern performance and handling capabilities, resulting in an exceptional driving experience.

The meticulous attention to detail, OEM+ design, and utilization of cutting-edge technology and manufacturing techniques are hallmarks of Theon Design’s approach. The company’s unwavering commitment to air-cooled Porsche perfection is evident in the ITA001’s superb craftsmanship and sophisticated engineering. Its dynamic ability is enhanced by the TracTive Active Controlled Electronics (ACE) damping system, calibrated for flawless performance across various driving conditions.

Visitors to the Goodwood Festival of Speed had the opportunity to view the ITA001 on display at stand 68/69 until the conclusion of the event on June 16th. Theon Design offers bespoke commissions starting at £380,000, with each car representing a unique collaboration with the customer and requiring 18 months for construction.
