Ford Philippines officially entered the new energy vehicle (NEV) market with the unveiling of its two latest offerings last week – Ford Mustang Mach-E and Ford Territory Hybrid – at the Bonifacio Global City Amphitheater in Taguig City.
With the event dubbed Ford Island Conquest, the Mustang Mach-E and Territory Hybrid spearheaded the Ford vehicle line-up on display during the 3-day weekend.
“We are excited to bring our newly-launched electrified Ford vehicles – the all-new Mustang Mach-E and new Territory Hybrid alongside our Ford line-up – closer to the Filipino motoring community for them to see and experience their amazing features,” Pedro Simoes, Managing Director of Ford Philippines, stated. “On top of this, we remain committed to adding more value to the Ford vehicle purchase with exciting deals and offers that our customers can enjoy,” he added.
Ziyad Dallalah, General Manager for Product Development & Program Management of Ford International Markets Group, flew in specially for the occasion and explained the various specifications of the two newly-launched electrified vehicles.
“The full-electric Ford Mustang Mach-E combines electric power, modern driving technology, signature design cues, and a legendary driving experience,” Dallalah pointed out. “The Mach-E carries the Mustang brand that has stood for freedom, performance, and individuality forward and delivers the unmistakable Mustang spirit with a zero-emission package, reflecting Ford’s commitment to the preservation of the environment.”
“The Mustang Mach-E is one of the most exciting vehicles that Ford has ever introduced. This purpose-built all-electric vehicle is unique, unmistakably a Mustang, and with a leading-edge driving range coming at exactly the right time for the growing Mustang enthusiast community in the country,” Simoes said.
Ford Philippines is offering the Mustang Mach-E Premium All-Wheel Drive Extended Range variant at P3,499,000 in Glacier Grey, Star White, Shadow Black, Velocity Blue, and Grabber Yellow colors. Buyers will get a free 3.5kW portable charger and a 7kW wall box charger.
The Ford Territory Hybrid marked the American carmaker’s official entry into the hybrid electric vehicle segment, making the Philippines the first market in Ford’s International Markets Group to offer the vehicle. “The Ford Territory has been an important product for us since we launched it in 2020. Bringing in the newest hybrid variant is an important step for us as the market demand for electrified vehicles continues to grow,” Simoes emphasized. “The Territory Hybrid builds on the strength of our popular SUV with a hybrid system that is refined and responsive. This is the kind of practical mobility innovation Filipino customers today are looking for, and we are ready to deliver it.”
The Territory Hybrid comes in two variants: Trend and Titanium X. At P1,399,000, the Territory Hybrid Trend provides the core hybrid powertrain and standard features designed for everyday driving. The Territory Hybrid Titanium X, which is priced at P1,599,000, features larger alloy wheels, premium interior finishes, a panoramic moon roof, a coast-to-coast LED Bar, and advanced driver-assist technologies.
