BPI Wealth launches bond feeder fund

BPI Wealth, the asset and wealth management arm of Ayala-led Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), has unveiled the BPI Global Bond Income Fund, a new investment solution designed to deliver consistent monthly income to Filipino investors. Tailored for income-seekers and those that need regular payouts, the fund offers a compelling moderate risk investment that focuses on global fixed income opportunities.

At the core of the fund is its target fund, the PIMCO Income Fund—a globally acclaimed, actively managed global bond portfolio known for its resilient performance and disciplined strategy.

With a strategic focus on yield generation while prioritizing capital preservation and an average annual payout of 6.1 percent  as of April 2025, the target fund has earned a reputation for delivering reliable income across market cycles.

PIMCO (Pacific Investment Management Company LLC), a global leader in active fixed income investing, manages over $2.03 trillion in assets as of the first quarter 2025 and serves institutional and individual investors across the globe.

Unlike many income-generating funds that rely on equities or balanced strategies, the BPI Global Bond Income Fund offers pure fixed income exposure, helping investors reduce volatility while maintaining regular payouts. It is available in both US dollar and Philippine peso classes, with a low minimum investment of just $100 or P1,000 respectively, making global bond investing more accessible than ever.
