Masticating the quotation itself is what describes Mrs Philippines International 2021 candidate Cristhel Fraulein Gardoce Bulabon, 46, from Antipolo City and representing the Province of Rizal.
It is no secret to most people who know Cristhel that she is a single mother to 6 children (including 5 boys) and a businesswoman as well. But prior to achieving success in her multi-faceted endeavors, she has had her share of experiencing how to pass on meals with just soy sauce and oil, hence, her inspiration to become a successful philanthropist today.
Cristhel is, indeed, an empowered woman. Consider these qualifications and accomplishments: certified scuba dive master, rescue paramedic, certified diver, certified underwater cave diver, skydiver, non-commercial pilot, certified defensive driver (in Bogota, Colombia), swimming instructor, PNP stakeholder, and endorser/commercial model.
Her philanthropic activities have taken her to as far as the Cagayan Valley, the Ilocos Region, the stretch of Rizal Province, down to Bicol, particularly since the beginning of the pandemic.
In 2010, Cristhel started her advocacy called Project FOOD (Feed One: Opens a Dream) with her children through a gift-giving and simple feeding program on a Christmas celebration. She has continued this project up to this day and has been collaborating with different NGOs, including The Fraternal Orders of Eagles Philippines, a non-profit organization uniting fraternally in the spirit of liberty, truth, justice, and equality.
Cristhel also has a very soft spot for all those who are silently fighting, including the LGBTQIA+ Community and the poor.
She is also the recipient of numerous awards as a successful businesswoman and philanthropist.
She joined the pageant because, “I have so much trust in the organization, spearheaded by couple Aries Concepcion and Maan Cueto Aris, and its platform, which will be an avenue for me to continue my advocacy on a larger scale.”
“It may sound cliché but this opportunity can absolutely help me become the best version of myself because I believe that I still have so much more to improve on not only for self-fulfillment but more so for the welfare of many others.”
