CEBU City Mayor Mike Rama expressed confidence the country will attain peace, prosperity and stability under a “curing administration” led by survey front runner Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.
Rama said Marcos and running mate Sara Duterte-Carpio will be able to lead and unite the country.
“When you talk about capacity, let’s not talk about yesterday, let’s move forward. I can see Marcos and Duterte as — I called them even MD — the curing administration,” he said adding their track record and experience will enable them to lead the country well.
Rama, who is running for mayor of Cebu City, vowed to work hard to bring victory for the UniTeam.
Cebu City is among the three cities under the One Cebu Island group that expressed support for the UniTeam during the One Cebu general assembly early this month.
The Marcos-Duterte UniTeam has been advocating for unity and cooperation even beyond the election period and regardless of who will win.
In Mandaue City, Duterte-Carpio urged her supporters to continue “hoping for the best” and to “prepare for the worst” just as the May 9 elections nears.
Duterte-Carpio, in a meeting with several sector representatives and supporters, said she is very thankful for the support of all individuals and organized groups for her and her causes aspirations for the country.
