Will Alyssa see action in finals?

BY ABBY TORALBA

CREAMLINE reached the Big Dance of the PVL All-Filipino Conference for the fifth straight time even without star spiker Alyssa Valdez.

“I’m very proud of them kasi for the past months I’ve been on the sidelines watching them training and preparing for the games so I’m super proud,” Valdez said. “I can see how they work hard, work smart in practice so I’m just very happy to see this actual na ina-apply nila talaga.”

“I’m very proud of all of them,” she added.

Valdez has yet to see action in the import-less tilt due to a right knee injury she suffered in the last Reinforced Conference.

Valdez said she is raring to rejoin the Cool Smashers but reiterated that she needs her doctor’s approval to play.

“I’m really praying to recover as soon as possible. Grabe, support system from my team, from our management, outside also in rehab, so I’m really praying na mas makatulong tayo sa ibang paraan,” the three-time PVL MVP said.

“Hopefully, soon but really praying. . . really have to wait for my doctor’s approval.”

If she is given the green light to suit up, she is willing to help Creamline.

“I would always fight for the team, be it inside the court, nasa bench or nasaan man,” she said. “I’m really willing to do whatever it takes para mas makatulong sa team.”
