DETERMINED to extend the finals series and defend their crown, Creamline coach Sherwin Meneses said his charges should prepare and toughen their mindset against a Petro Gazz side he described as “super.”
“First, iyong coaching staff talagang nag-usap na kami about sa schedule ng training kasi medyo late (noong Monday). Iyon iyong number one naging assignment after the loss. Ang mindset dapat, malakas iyong mindset namin,” Meneses said.
“Sa Tuesday (today), (dapat) mas gumalaw ng tama at gustong manalo kasi iyong Petro Gazz grabe, super iyong laro nila. Nagbigay kami ng maraming errors, siguro iyon iyong number one (iwasan), basic errors, service, touching the net, iyon so siguro ma-adjust na namin iyong mga ganoon errors,” he added.
The Cool Smashers try to drag the best-of-3 title battle to a deciding match when they take on the Angels today in the PVL All-Filipino Conference at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay.

A winner-take-all third game, if necessary, will be on Thursday at the same venue.
