DESPITE falling short in its last match, PLDT still hopes to get a shot at a finals slot in the PVL Invitational Conference.
The High Speed Hitters absorbed a 25-23, 20-25, 23-25, 25-20, 13-15 loss to foreign guest team KingWahle Taipei two days ago to wind up with a 2-2 mark in the single-round semis.
Tatlo lang naman iyong sinabi ko sa girls kanina sa kanila, three things lang — enjoy the game, play your game and then go for win,” he added.
The High Speed Hitters still have a slim chance of reaching the Big Dance if KingWhale drops its matches against Creamline and Cignal in straight sets.
