FARM Fresh bolstered its line-up ahead of the PVL Third Conference in October by acquiring prolific spiker Alyssa Bertolano yesterday.
The Foxies announced the addition of Bertolano, who made her PVL debut with the Gerflor Defenders in the Invitational Conference back in July.
“The Farm Fresh family continues to grow as we welcome outside hitter Alyssa Bertolano into the fold,” Farm Fresh said in a social media post.
“We hope to see you prosper and shine brighter in your new home, Foxy! Let’s Get It! #FarmFreshStart” it added.
The former University of the Philippines standout showed her prowess in the league as a lethal weapon for the Defenders.
Her arrival at Farm Fresh will surely prop up the Foxies campaign in the season-ending conference after they finished last in the Invitational tourney.
Over the weekend, Farm Fresh also signed up open spiker Justine Dorog, the former skipper of the Defenders.
Dorog will join her sister Jessa Dorog and will be reunited with coach Jerry Yee who recruited her at UP.
The Foxies are expected to fly to Hong Kong to strengthen their team chemistry.
“We will be having a trip. We are thankful to have a sponsor. They will bring us to Hong Kong. Malaking bagay din iyon to develop the chemistry of the players,” Yee said.
