CHERY Tiggo hammered out a 25-23, 25-21, 25-22 victory over shorthanded F2 Logistics to open its PVL Reinforced Conference campaign on a high yesterday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig.
Skipper Mylene Paat powered the Crossovers with 16 points, while setter Jasmine Nabor tossed 13 excellent sets and three markers.
Open hitter EJ Laure finished with 11 kills, while Montenegrin import Jelena Cvilovic delivered six points, 10 excellent receptions and seven digs for Chery Tiggo.
“Siyempre tuwang-tuwa kami kasi sabi ko nga noong last, magperform din iyong mga locals ko madali kaming manalo with the help ng import. Nagkaroon naman kami ng magandang simula so iyon nagtuloy-tuloy lang,” Crossovers coach Clarence Esteban said.
