Ogie Alcasid and Ian Veneracion are spearheading a concert for a cause, “Christmas With The Stars Online Concert,” this December 11, 2021.
“As we all know, the live event and concert industry is one of the most affected industries since Covid 19 began last year. Thousands of freelance live production professionals have been struggling to make ends meet,” said Ogie.
“One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to freelancers who work for live events and concerts,” added the singer-songwriter.
“Christmas With the Stars” is a project of the Ortigas and Company and Ogie’s A Team (Alcasid Total Entertainment and Artist Management) for the benefit of the Independent Production Workers Group (IPWG).
All shoppers have to do is submit a single or accumulated receipt worth Php 1,000 from any Ortigas Mall establishment via the Ortigas Malls Christmas With The Stars Google Form (www.ortigasmalls.com) with a screenshot of your Ortigas Community Card Membership ID from November 4 until December 10, 2021
“Kilabotitos” Ogie and Ian will not only host the show but will perform with live band accompaniment. They will be joined by some of the country’s top concert artists, led by Regine Velasquez and Mr. Christmas himself, Jose Mari Chan. Also performing are Dingdong Avanzado, Christian Bautista, Poppert Bernadas, Noel Cabangon, Rj Dela Fuente, Krystle, Moira Lacambra, Kuh Ledesma, Gian Magdangal, Lara Maigue, Aicelle Santos, Lani Misalucha, Martin Nievera, Randy Santiago, Gary Valenciano and National Artist Ryan Cayabyab.
The Ryan Cayabyab Singers and The Company are also going to serenade the online audience.
The show shall be directed by Paolo Bustamante.
