For years, Martin Nievera would say he did not have a contract with ABS-CBN — but remained loyal to the network.
Now the Concert King can say he is a true-blue Kapamilya as he renews his ties with ABS-CBN.
The signing happened in Las Vegas, USA, last Nov. 4, ahead of the “ASAP Natin ‘To Las Vegas” live event.
For Martin, his contract renewal with ABS-CBN is one of the highlights of his 40th showbiz anniversary celebration, adding that he is grateful to remain a Kapamilya, and is excited for what is in store for him in the coming years.
“To be asked to stay Kapamilya forever, I’m very touched. The word Kapamilya may sound like a title, but for me it’s a true honor. It’s a great badge we wear because some of the greatest artists have walked our hallways and studios,” Martin said.
“I’m proud to say that there are a couple of things growing for me. There’s just endless possibilities on what they have in store for me. But first and foremost, I must remain loyal, positive, keep inspiring, and more importantly I must remember that I am in the service of the Filipino people wherever,” he added.
At Martin’s contract signing were ABS-CBN president and CEO Carlo Katigbak and COO for broadcast Cory Vidanes.
Martin has been a mainstay with ABS-CBN as one of its artists since the network’s re-opening in 1986, most notably as a pioneer performer of “ASAP Natin ‘To.” He has served as a celebrity judge for various Kapamilya singing competitions including “The X Factor Philippines” and “I Love OPM,” talk show host for “Martin Late @ Nite” and “LSS: The Martin Nievera Show,” and co-hosted the musical gameshow “Twist and Shout.” Martin also released multiple tracks with Star Music, with some as theme songs for beloved teleseryes such as “Maging Sino Ka Man” and “A Beautiful Affair.”

‘Dingdong is not only its endorser, but also believes in the company’s integrity and robust future that he plans to own one of its branches — the 80th — soon.’
Few actors can say they enjoy a good life as well as a splendid career. Dingdong Dantes is one of the lucky few.
A happy family man, husband of superstar Marian Rivera and father to their two kids, Zia and Ziggy, Dingdong is also a highly respected actor-host and businessman. Aside from being the anchor of the very successful game show on primetime, “Family Feud” and being the host of the infotainment show, “Amazing Earth,” he remains a huge draw in the big screen as well as an endorser.
Just recently, he renewed his ties as the face of Mesa, the successful restaurant with 70 branches nationwide. Mesa is so successful the owners are looking to branch out abroad. And Dingdong is not only its endorser, but also believes in the company’s integrity and robust future that he plans to own one of its branches — the 80th — soon.
