Is Boy Abunda, the local showbiz’ “King of Talk,” running for public office next year?
Whispers going around say he is mulling a possible senate run.
He put the issue to rest recently when he said he is not going for a senate seat.
“I am not ready to run for the Senate,” Boy was quoted in an interview.
He, however, did not say he will never try for any local post. His late mother, Lesing Abunda, served as Borongan councilor and then vice mayor. His sister, Fe Abunda, was Borongan Mayor in 2019 and served the city for three terms. She is currently the congresswoman of the lone district of Eastern Samar.
People close to Boy has advised him to give the idea a thorough thought, and he said he is open to considering a local posting.
“Tutal October pa naman ang filing of candidacy,” his friends said.

Did we hear it right that when Bea Alonzo left for the US, she was accompanied by her rumored beau, Dominique Roque.
While Bea has never denied that she and Dominique are close, she has never publicly acknowledged that they are in a relationship.

Bea and her family own a farm in Iba, Zambales that measures 15 hectares.

They use solar power in the farm and assigned to look after it is Bea’s mom and brother, whose wife is the eldest daughter of comedian Bayani Agbayani.
It was reportedly the idea of Bea’s mom to have a vacation house in the farm.
“Na puwede nilang i-rent out, as Iba is an ideal place to stay for a vacation. Malamig at malinis ang lugar,” our source added.

Newly married actress Ara Mina wants to get married.
Ara, who tied the knot with Dave Almarinez in Baguio on June 30, is 42 years old. She has one daughter, Amanda Gabrielle, with former partner Patrick Meneses.
“I grew up in a big family,” said Ara. “Eldest ako sa nine siblings.”
She wore a beautiful Leo Almodal wedding gown that was a gift of her sisters.
“Kaya alam kong masarap magkaroon ng maraming kapatid,” said Ara. “Hindi na naging problema ni Dave na ibili ako ng susuutin ko sa aming kasal.”
Dave is an entrepreneur and also special assistant to President Digong Duterte. He was formerly a member of the Laguna provincial board.

And his prayers have been answered as the case has been dismissed recently. This means he can now receive his retirement benefits and continue working in the government.
