SHARON Cuneta posted photos of the huge mansion she’s having constructed in a sprawling 3,000 sq. m. lot. It’s really a huge property, almost like a plush resort with its own basement parking.
The main building is their family home and she’ll have her own space for her clothes, shoes, books, studios for vlogging, dressing room, recording studio in her “she cave.” It has its own garden, swimming pool and a separate house for her doggies. She estimates the whole thing would be completed in a year and a half.
Sharon misses work because of the pandemic, that’s why she’s glad when Viva got her to do “Revirginized” with their current fair-haired boy, writer-director Darryl Yap.
“Actually, dapat nga, we’d start another movie right away after a few days of rest lang, kasi back-to-back projects ‘yung natanguan ko sa Viva,” she said. “But hindi natuloy kasi nag-lockdown uli because of the high surge in the number of new cases. Even the taping of the new season of ‘Your Face Sounds Familiar’ was stopped because of the ECQ, we don’t know yet as to when it will be resumed.”
She just loves taping for that reality show. “I’m really so happy pa naman to be part of that show. Sumasakit ang tiyan ko sa mga kasama kong sina Ogie Alcasid and Luis Manzano.

They feel they duped by the two, who released a vlog saying they have decided to become lovers before later revealing it was all a prank.
Some quarters are not pleased with the stunt of Arci Muñoz and JM de Guzman who earlier posted that they have officially become lovers after being friends for several years. They really go back a long way, since their college days in the University of the Philippines where they were part of the same theater group. They’ve also been paired on the big screen in the movie “Last Fool Show,” which sadly didn’t do well at the box office, and also on TV in the soap “Pamilya Ko.”
When they announced that they went from being best friends to lovers as their personalities complement each other, many folks expressed happiness for them. So when they revealed that it was just all a prank, many fans became indignant and disappointed.
They say they don’t like the idea of being fooled. Some irate fans who were antagonized by their pranks say that this explains why both JM and Arci have fleeting relationships, hopping from one partner to another, because they don’t really take their romantic relationships seriously. It’s all just a big joke for them.
These outraged fans are now calling on other people to boycott both JM and Arci as they are not worthy of anyone’s emulation. It’s now clear that Arci and JM’s prank backfired on them. JM has a new soap with Yam Concepcion. Let’s see how this will be affected by this move to boycott him.

Diego Loyzaga feels so fortunate that after he signed up with Viva, they gave him two projects right away. He’s now doing the series on TV5, “Encounter,” with Cristine Reyes and he also stars in a full-length film, “Death of a Girlfriend,” directed by well-known horror film director, Yam Laranas.
He’s paired with newcomer AJ Raval, the daughter of former action star Jeric Raval. So how is it working with AJ?
“Dahil nauna ako kay AJ sa showbiz, I have to make her feel comfortable para maganda rapport namin. We also had an intimacy workshop for us to be more relaxed with each other in doing our love scene. Magaan katrabaho si AJ.”
How is it shooting the film that’s a whodunit thriller?
“I love it, kasi it’s not your usual teleserye type or teeny bopper love story, so it offers a different challenge from the actors. Mas ginaganahan kang magtrabaho kasi naiiba nga ang ganitong kind of movie.”
He turns 26 on May 21. How would he describe himself now compared to when he started in showbiz as a teenager almost 10 years ago? “Definitely, mas seryoso ako sa work ko ngayon. Kahit may pandemic, 2021 has been good to me and I want to thank Viva for trusting me and giving me another chance. Also God for His blessings, good projects to help get me back on the ball.”
Is he happy now?
“Yes, God gave me a second wind. It’s a comeback and so far, it’s going well. Sana, magtuloy-tuloy lang. Pati sa lovelife ko, I’m happy now.”
So would he say his current girlfriend, Barbie Imperial, is the right one for him?
“Yes, I can say it, siya na nga.”
Wouldn’t she get jealous that he did sexy scenes with AJ in “Death of a Girlfriend”?
“No, hindi naman nagseselos si Barbie kasi alam naman niyang trabaho lang ito. She is also an actress so naiintindihan niyang part ng work namin ito.”

Ruru Madrid was supposed to have resumed the taping of his new show for GMA-7, the slam-bang action-adventure series, “Lolong.”
“But we were told hindi na muna tuloy kasi nga nag-ECQ uli at delikado ang panahon dahil tumataas uli ang cases,” he said. “May directive ang management na wala munang taping. Sayang kasi reading-ready na kami ng co-stars kong sina Shaira Diaz at Arra San Agustin.
Nag-training na kami sa stunts and action scenes. May underwater training pa kasi giant crocodile ang kalaban namin dito kaya may mga eksenang kukunan sa ilalim ng tubig.
Baka sa Mayo na raw uli ang taping, kapag nag-improve na ang sitwasyon.”
