HUNDREDS of pipe fitters are currently in demand, topping the list of job vacancies in Public Employment Service Offices (PESOs), according to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).
Based on the July 2 to 8 data released by the Bureau of Local Employment (BLE), 800 pipe fitters are needed.
Other leading job vacancies include laborer (575), service crew (574), admin services aide (504), and production machine operators (498).
Completing the top 10 are stock clerk (403), call center agent (304), scaffolder (300), production worker (243), and cashiers (221).
PESO data also showed high demand for government clerk (217), sales clerk (180), welders (153), government laborer (112), and hotel housekeeping attendant (105).
