SOME P2.4 million worth of property was lost during a 30-minute fire that struck despite continuous rains at a house in Antipolo City on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported that the blaze occurred at a house located at 117 Buliran Rd., Sitio Kapatiran, Barangay San Isidro, Antipolo City, owned by Jonalou Rempillo, 29.
The fire broke out around 5:50 p.m. while no one was home.
The fire reached the first alarm before it was put out.
The cause of the blaze is still under investigation.
No casualties or injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
