President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has appointed former Philippine National Police (PNP) chief retired general Rodolfo Azurin Jr. as the new special adviser and investigator of the Independent Commission for Infrastructure (ICI), the Office of the President announced on Monday.
Azurin, who previously led the national police force, will assume his new role after completing his personal and administrative arrangements.
The ICI is currently leading investigations into infrastructure projects across the country, including recent controversies involving flood control projects. — Malaya News Team
