PHILIPPINE Drug Enforcement Agency operatives arrested a suspected drug importer who allegedly smuggled about a kilo of suspected shabu worth P6.9 million in Caloocan City on Wednesday night.
A report from the PDEA Central Luzon identified the suspect as Charlene Nworisa, who was arrested at around 8:30 p.m. at her residence in Villa Crystal, Phase I in Barangay Bagumbong Dulo.
Before the operation, authorities inspected a package that arrived at the Clark International Airport in Pampanga last March 12. The package, consigned to Nworisa, came from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
