OPERATIVES of the PNP Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) arrested a Bicol policeman in the act of selling illegal drugs in Guinobatan town in Albay last Thursday, it was reported yesterday.
The arrested cop was identified as Patrolman Joshua Resentes, assigned with the Regional Headquarters Support Unit of the Bicol police regional office based in Legazpi City, Albay.
Resentes was nabbed by IMEG operatives, in coordination with the Guinobatan police station and other police units, during a buy-bust operation in Purok 1, Barangay San Rafael.
He was accosted shortly after he handed to a poseur buyer five plastic sachets containing shabu worth P16,000, IMEG said in a statement.
