CHRISTY Lim aims to continue the legacy of her father, the late Alfredo Lim who served as Manila mayor for 12 years, and will launch programs that will benefit the city’s residents if she wins in the mayoralty race on May 9.
Lim, a true-blue Manileña born and raised in Tondo, is running under the Partido Reporma, with Lucy Lapinig for vice mayor and Ian Halili for councilor. As a businesswoman and mother, Lim plans to use of technology and forge partnerships to hasten the delivery of service to Manileños.
Her Lingap Ng Inang Manileño has helped over 6,000 residents from city’s Districts 1 to 6 through opportunities provided by the foundation. Lim’s priorities are programs for a clean government, health, response, investment, tourism, safety, youth, livelihood, infrastructure, and the Manileños.
These programs are the foundation of her mantra “ genuine concern and service for the city of Manila.”
“I will follow the footsteps of my father. My plans to make Manila prosper should be felt by everyone living here. I am committed to carrying out my responsibilities and be a beacon of hope for the residents if given the opportunity to serve,” she said.
