UNITEAM vice presidential aspirant Sara Duterte-Carpio on Sunday night advised their supporters and voters in general to prepare their own “kodigo” or list of candidates they would vote for on election day.
During a rally in Taguig City, Duterte-Carpio thanked their supporters for their continued support and for the chance to meet them.
“To the people of Taguig, thank you for the time and the opportunity to know you…a reminder to our fellowmen, to all of you, a cheat code is important, a sample ballot on the day of the election because there are a lot of names to be remembered,” she said.
Duterte-Carpio’s father, President Duterte, issued the same advice last week, telling voters to prepare a list of candidates they would vote for and use it as their guide come election day.
The President made the reminder after endorsing the senatorial candidates supported by the ruling party Partido Demokratiko Pilipino Lakas ng Bayan (PDP Laban).
UniTeam standard bearer Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr., during the same campaign rally, reiterated their platform, such as the reopening of more jobs to ensure that Filipinos, especially those who have lost their jobs due to the pandemic, could earn to ensure they will have sufficient food on their table, and continue the campaign against crimes.
Over the weekend, Marcos and Duterte-Carpio received the support and endorsement of 14,600 municipal and city councilors nationwide, 19 mayors of Bulacan, and some local officials from different Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Musslim Mindanao (BARRM) provinces.
The Philippine Councilors League (PCL) presented a manifesto of support to Marcos and Duterte-Carpio signed by 85 percent or 14,600 of the 17,177 municipal and city councilors nationwide. The manifesto was presented at the BBM headquarters in Mandaluyong last Friday.
“We commit to protect the will of the people and safeguard the victory of Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., and Mayor Inday Sara Duterte as president and vice president of the Republic of the Philippines,” the governors from Maguindanao, Sulu, Lanao del Sur, Tawi-Tawi and their mayors and traditional leaders said in a manifesto presented to Marcos.
