Gamers are in for a treat this 2022 as The Pokemon Company releases a series of updates to existing games as well as the announcement of the latest addition to the franchise, Pokémon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet.
With Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet, the Pokémon series takes a new evolutionary step, allowing you to explore freely in a richly expressed open world.
Various towns and cities blend seamlessly into the wilderness with no borders. You’ll be able to see the Pokémon of this region in the skies, in the seas, in the forests, on the streets–all over! In addition, in these games, you’ll be able to experience the true joy of the Pokémon series–battling against wild Pokémon in order to catch them–now in an open-world game that players of any age can enjoy.
As one of the main characters, you’ll jump into the world of Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet to go on your adventure. Your outfit will also vary depending on whether you play Pokémon Scarlet or Pokémon Violet.
The three Pokémon from which you’ll be able to choose your first partner in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet are the Grass Cat Pokémon Sprigatito, the Fire Croc Pokémon Fuecoco, and the Duckling Pokémon Quaxly.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus gets a new update with the launch of Daybreak. In the Daybreak update, you will begin investigating mysterious mass outbreaks of Pokémon that are popping up all over the Hisui region. You’ll also have a chance to battle powerful opponents–like Legendary Pokémon and wardens–adding yet more options to your Pokémon battle experience
The update brings with it new scenarios in Hisui, such as mass Pokémon outbreaks.
Meanwhile, the Eternal Battle Reverie allows players to challenge incredibly strong Pokémon. At times, you’ll battle in inconceivable situations like facing multiple Legendary Pokémon at once.
You can also take on new challenges at the training grounds in Jubilife Village. You’ll be able to take your battle skills even further by battling the wardens that you met during your travels or taking on challenging battles with difficult constraints–such as using only a single Pokémon.
All sorts of people will also begin to visit the photography studio in Jubilife Village, where you will be able to take pictures with them. Other content to make your adventure more enjoyable has also been added.
