THE Asian Implantology and Integrated Dentistry (AIID) has opened at the Crystal Corridor of Okada Manila. Not only is it a well-designed dental clinic, it also has a café with a menu that has been curated by chef entrepreneur Kelly Parreño-Librojo.
AIID’s Dr. Miguel Librojo has been practicing dentistry since 2011 focusing on dental implantology and esthetic dentistry with an approach that strikes a perfect balance between personal and professional.
Librojo shared that, initially, he did not think of becoming a dentist as he wanted to go to Ateneo for college.
Looking back, he is thankful that he listened to his mother who was a good dentist, really dedicated to her patients. At that time, she was battling cancer, and Librojo did not want to disappoint her.
In everything he does whether in his dental practice or personal life, he still keeps her in mind and lives by her teachings.
Librojo takes pride in giving his patients the best care they deserve. The biggest lesson he learned from his grandfather was the importance of continuing learning and striving for excellence.
A devoted husband to his wife Kelly and a hands-on father to their son he said, “I basically do everything with them — we travel, find good food spots, and play a lot with our son.”
His main purpose as a dentist is to make patients smile better and, of course, giving someone another reason to smile “and that really makes me happy.” That is the reason why Librojo opened AIID.
AIID is a brainchild of Miguel and Kelly, merging their professions into one business. “Kelly is a chef by profession, so we thought of having the café inside the dental clinic,” he said.
Since it is located inside the five-star hotel Okada Manila, “our clinic also has the same level of service and hospitality that the hotel is known for.”
AIID aims to provide first-class dental treatment by using state-of-the-art equipment and partnering with world-class talents, he added. Its state-of-the-art CBCT machine is the gold standard for dental diagnosis. “We recently partnered with one of the best ceramists in the world, my Italian friend Lamberto Villani.”
By opening the AIID, Librojo hopes he can do justice to his family’s legacy — more than 100 years of excellence in the dental profession.
“Alongside me are incredible, dedicated partners and associates who share the same vision of providing accessible and high-quality treatments,” said Librojo.
He said it is their goal to elevate the whole dental experience for their patients. “We want to make our patients feel they are in good hands, and we always want to give them another reason to smile.”
Above all else, his team promises to deliver honest and genuine service to all their patients.
“Smile big, live better. We truly believe that a simple smile can really change someone’s life,” he noted.
