Galleria Nicolas presents year-end special

Galleria Nicolas brings together an art exhibition of exemplary works in “Magnificent Treasure,” in the much-awaited year ender special at Greenbelt 5. This collection showcases the heights of Filipino artistry while presenting carefully selected pieces as unique treasures that capture specific aspects of Philippine art and culture. These works are presented as treasures, not only for their traditional value, but for the emotional, intellectual, and cultural wealth they impart to those who experience them.

The different facets of the human condition lie at the heart of “Magnificent Treasures.” This exhibition is an ode to the innate compulsion to express oneself — to react to the physical and emotional environment one inhabits. Through a collection of sublime visual representations of these creative reactions, the exhibit affirms that these meaningful moments worth remembering and sensing the world are worth treasuring, exhibiting and collecting. Each piece captures the depth of human experience as seen through the eyes of each of the participating artists’ eyes.

This collection showcases a wide array of works that reflect the diverse modern and contemporary artistic sensibilities of some of the leading artists and masters the gallery has championed. This includes the names of Juvenal Sanso, Katrina Cuenca, Patrick Esmao, Jepoy Almario, Almer Moneda, Ann Moneda, William Alvarez, Richard Arimado, Vic Bachoco, Jo Balbarona, Michael Cacnio, Joy Calanasan, Xander Calceta, Ronel Cainto, Norberto Carating, Astrid Castillo. Ed Castrillo, Nixxio Castrillo, Antonio Daleon, Patrick Esmao, Francis Evangelista, Fai Co, James Gabito, Raul Isidro, Jinky Lorenzo Reynoso, Art Lozano, Jerry Morada, Marge Organo, Perfecto Palero, Sonny Palles, Averil Paras, Jax Pasimio, Michael Pastorizo, Aljo Pingol, and Jay Ragma,

“Magnificent Treasures” elevates human emotions and perceptions by bringing out their inherent value. As viewers navigate through this collection, they are invited to celebrate these moments as treasures in their own right. Furthermore, one is invited to pause and reflect on the profound sensations that shape their understanding of their world and unique circumstances.

“Magnificent Treasures” will be on view at a limited time only from November 30 to December 13, 2024. The exhibition is located at The Gallery – Amphitheater on the 2nd level of Greenbelt 5 in Makati City
