Alcoholic beverages has always enjoyed a reputation as drinks of celebration and in the upcoming Grand Wine Experience, the event is more than just a wine and spirits event. It is also a celebration of life, of dreams of the future, and a tribute to the past.
This year’s edition is titled Bud Break, named after the first stage of the grapevine’s annual cycle, when the dormant buds burst into life and produce new shoots. It is a critical time for the vineyard, as it determines the potential yield and quality of the grapes. It is also a beautiful sight, as the green leaves contrast with the brown branches and creates a stunning landscape.
True to its name, the event also coincides with the reopening of the hospitality industry after a long period of lockdowns and restrictions due to the pandemic. This makes it a perfect opportunity to reconnect with old friends, make new ones, and savor the finer things in life.
Slated to be held at the Marriott Hotel Manila Grand Ballroom on November 17, 2023 from 5pm until midnight, the event is the largest and most prestigious event of its kind in Southeast Asia, with guests able to enjoy over 1000 wines, spirits, sakes, and beers from around the world. These beverages are curated by experts and presented by renowned winemakers and distillers. Pairing the wide selection of drinks are exquisite dishes prepared by top chefs to complement the libations.
The previous Grand Wine Experience was held last 2019 and guests can expect the fun dial to be cranked to the maximum as industry partners, participants and guests aim to make up for the missed festivities on the past 4 years.
