Synology showcases enhanced solutions at PhilSec 2024

DATA STORAGE expert Synology, last week participated in PhilSec 2024, a leading Philippine cybersecurity event. The company highlighted its latest advancements in security-centric data protection and hybrid cloud solutions to address the growing cybersecurity concerns of businesses.

Thachawan Chinchanakarn, Regional Sales Manager of Synology, emphasized the critical importance of robust cybersecurity measures in the face of evolving digital threats.

During a keynote session at PhilSec, Philippines Country Manager of Synology, Claire Huang, delved into the complexities of data protection in the era of digital disruption. She highlighted Synology’s license-free Active Backup for Business package, which offers comprehensive protection for computers, virtual machines, SaaS accounts, and servers within an organization.

Synology’s C2 cloud services, including C2 Object Storage and C2 Identity, were also presented as practical solutions for businesses seeking to migrate to the cloud while maintaining strict data protection standards. These services align with industry-specific needs and ensure regulatory compliance.

By integrating Synology’s on-premises and native cloud solutions, businesses can effectively implement the 3-2-1 backup principle, a well-established strategy for data protection and recovery. This approach involves having three copies of data, stored on two different media, with one copy stored off-site, ensuring robust resilience against disasters and cyberattacks.
