FRESEL Jane Ortelano Lanuza was officially crowned as Miss Cinderella of the World – Teen 2021 during a victory press conference held last Tuesday at Pandan Asian Café in Quezon City. She was officially crowned by the head of Megastar Productions Ovette Ricalde.
The Miss Cinderella of the World 2021 International was held virtually last November 17. It had four categories: Miniature, Pre-Teen, Teen, and Woman. Contestants from 32 countries across the continents joined the virtual competition that has been sidelined to a safe but, nonetheless, challenging platform because of the pandemic.
The competition was hosted by Onin Mas and former beauty queen and philanthropist Jessie Maloles, who served as the Queen Fairy Godmother.
Fresel is a 17-year-old class valedictorian who hails from Brgy. Burgos, San Jose in Tarlac.
Prior to winning as Cinderella of the World-Teen 2021, Fresel had previously joined school and local beauty tilts with hopes of someday joining national pageants like Binibining Pilipinas.
Fresel is against bullying since she was bullied before because of her body size.
She has overcome that and stands proud for having survived criticisms. She can now proudly say she has overcome a lot and is an international beauty queen.
Ricalde has expressed hopes that the second edition will be held face-to-face to make-up for its virtual launching this year.
