The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) delivered a fully equipped Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) to the Philippine Military Academy (PMA) on Feb. 20 at PAGCOR’s Corporate Office in Pasay City.
PAGCOR Chairman and CEO Alejandro H. Tengco announced that this donation marks the first of 246 PTVs slated for distribution to local government units and organizations nationwide, aimed at strengthening the country’s healthcare system.
PMA Commanding Officer Col. Nealon Eugene P. Batalla received the vehicle on behalf of the academy. “On behalf of PMA Superintendent Admiral Valencia, we thank PAGCOR for this donation,” said Batalla. “This will greatly benefit our cadets and personnel who need urgent medical transfers to bigger tertiary hospitals.”
The PTV comes equipped with a GPS navigation system, ambulance stretcher, medical oxygen, wheelchair, and first aid kit to ensure safe and efficient patient transport.
