Okada Manila hosted an exclusive meet-and-greet with 2020 NBA Champion Kyle Kuzma on August 20, 2025, drawing enthusiastic fans for an evening celebrating sports, style, and community. Kuzma, now a forward for the Milwaukee Bucks, was formally welcomed by Okada Manila President & COO Byron Yip to kick off the event.
The program included a casual Q&A where Kuzma shared insights on his NBA journey and creative ventures, followed by photo sessions with fans.
“Okada Manila stands at the intersection of sport, culture, and hospitality,” Yip said. “Welcoming Kyle Kuzma—a champion whose story blends excellence on the court, creativity in fashion and business, and genuine community impact—reflects our vision to engage world-class sports figures in the Philippines, inspire the next generation, and help grow a vibrant, diverse tourism experience for our guests and for the country.”
Kuzma’s visit is part of a series of fan activities in the Philippines, underscoring his strong connection with Filipino supporters.
Selected 27th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft, Kuzma won the NBA Championship with the Los Angeles Lakers in 2020 and joined the Milwaukee Bucks in February 2025. Named to Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2024, he advances social programs through the Kyle Kuzma Family Foundation, including a $1 million gift to the YMCA of Greater Flint supporting single mothers and youth.
