The Nation Builders and MOSLIV Awards recently gathered leaders from various sectors to promote sustainable development and celebrate their commitment to progress and resilience. Held at the Grand Ballroom of Okada Manila and organized by Sustainability Standards, Incorporated (SSI), the event served as both a recognition platform and a rallying cry for collective action towards the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDGs).
The MOSLIV Awards, which stands for “Most Sustainable and Liveable,” aims to galvanize Filipinos in achieving climate neutrality and social equity. As the world approaches the halfway mark of the UN SDG 2030 Agenda, the event highlighted both the progress made and the urgency of future efforts.
The awards night emphasized unity and shared responsibility among attendees, including policymakers, business leaders, local government officials, and young innovators. Each honoree represented vital contributions to creating a sustainable future.
Recognized individuals and organizations included:
- Hon. Dakila Carlo E. Cua, awarded Governor of the Year for enhancing governance and institutional resilience.

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. emphasized the importance of collective action in addressing climate change and inequality, stating that achieving the UN SDGs requires participation from all levels of society.
The awards not only celebrate achievements but also aim to raise public awareness about sustainability, encouraging citizens to adopt practices that reduce environmental impact. The evening underscored how individual actions can shape national outcomes.
While honoring remarkable achievements, the MOSLIV Awards served as a call to action for all Filipinos to reflect on their roles in creating a climate-neutral and inclusive society. By highlighting contributions from public servants, philanthropists, and business leaders, SSI aims to inspire future changemakers to embrace sustainability.
The MOSLIV Awards are not just about celebrating accomplishments; they build momentum for a future where sustainability is integral to every decision made.
