Manila Electric Company (Meralco) Vice President for Corporate Communications Joe R. Zaldarriaga explained to members of the media during a press conference the initiatives the power distributor has undertaken to restore power to areas with damaged facilities, including flood-hit areas, as a result of Super Typhoon Carina.
Zaldarriaga assured customers that Meralco crews are working around the clock to bring power back to affected areas.
