PSMEX, I-MTAP hold 4-day event

The Philippine Subcon and Manufacturers Exhibition (PSMEX) 2023 and the International Machinery Tools & Accessories Philippines (I-MTAP) 2023 exhibition were launched at the World Trade Center (WTC) last April 26.
The opening ceremonies were attended by Philippine Economic Zone Authority group manager Joy Alguso, and Department of Science and Technology, Metals Industry Research and Development Center executive director Robert Dizon, and Aerospace Industries Association of the Philippines president Dennis Chan and chairman John Lee.
Alguso mentioned in her speech the current endeavors of the Philippine administration for the metalworks and subcon industry.
Dizon cited the government’s role in providing platforms for local enterprises to feature their best practices and discussed some of the projects that DOST-MIRDC has to support the industry.
Chan expressed hope the event will help revive industries affected by the pandemic in his opening remarks.
Lee closed the ceremonies by thanking all suppliers, sponsors, exhibitors, and media partners for the support.
PSMEX 2025 and i-MTAP 2025 were held back to back at Halls A to D of the WTC until May 3.
I-MTAP showcased state-of-the-art products from the metal and its allied industries from leading manufacturers, subcontracting companies, services, local distributors as well as foreign suppliers.
I-MTAP 2023 incorporated the following events in the exhibition: International Industrial Automation and Robotics Philippines , International Sheet Metal Philippines , International Machine Tools & Accessories Philippines, International Instrumentations & Metrology Philippines, International Plastics Philippines , International Welding Philippines and International Hardware, Accessories, & Tools Philippines.
PSMEX 2023 catered to the needs of the aerospace, automotive, electronics and motorcycle manufacturing industries. The exhibition aimed to gather industrialists in the manufacturing and supporting industries of the Philippines, to showcase their capabilities to the whole world.
Over 20 free technical seminars to enhance knowledge and awareness about the latest technologies in the industry were also held at the 4-day exhibition.
Sarisuki marks 2nd year
Online shopping platform Sarisuki marked its second anniversary with Sarisuki Super Fiesta 2023 on May 5 at the Quezon City Memorial Circle.
Over 2,000 of Sarisuki’s Ka-Sangga, Ka-Saripreneurs, and Ka-Suki attended the event which was graced by Sarisuki’s partners from Universal Robina Corp., The Coca-Cola Company, Bounty Fresh Chicken, and Gcash.
Established at the height of the pandemic in 2021, Sarisuki positioned itself as a unique platform where communities and farmers have a partnership. This gave birth to a new generation of Community Leaders that continue to explore the potential of selling affordable farm-fresh goods and other essential items. Eventually, Sarisuki grew with the support from venture capitalists such as Kickstart, Openspace, JGDec, and Foxmont, which saw the potential in Sarisuki.
Sarisuki’s network expanded from Metro Manila to Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas and Quezon. Sarisuki now plans to expand to offline channels.
Sarisuki aims to provide consistent farm fresh products at affordable prices, supply a convenient channel for e-commerce, and create sustainable financial opportunities for communities and farmers.
Sarisuki gets its supply of farm fresh products and other essential goods directly from the source thus ensuring these are consistently of good quality and priced affordably. Sarisuki sees to it that the products delivered to one’s doorstep are in good condition.
