SM Malls’ premier tech hub hosts gaming competition, offering opportunities for upcoming esports talents to showcase their skills and win prizes
SM North EDSA’s Cyberzone Annex Atrium, L4 becomes the battleground for the Cyberzone Challenger Series this August 2-3. The competitive event welcomes gamers from novice to pro level to test their skills in Manila’s thriving esports scene.

“Esports continues to reshape how we see gaming today—what was once a way to pass time is now a thriving community,” said Mr. Patrick G. Pacla, Vice President – Cyberzone Operations and Marketing at SM Supermalls. “For Cyberzone, it’s exciting to be part of such a monumental era in gaming.”
Co-presented by DataBlitz, PLDT Home, PCExpress, and UGREEN, the two-day tournament features four competitions: Mobile Legends Bang Bang (MLBB), Tekken 8, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Beyblade X.
Day 1 Highlights OSX hosts concurrent MLBB and Tekken 8 tournaments. MLBB’s single-elimination format pits 64 teams against each other for a ₱30,000 prize pool. Tekken 8’s one-on-one battles feature a ₱20,000 prize pool, with winners keeping characters while losers must switch.



Day 2 Action Anduin’s Highgrounds presents tabletop tournaments. Yu-Gi-Oh! follows traditional 3-on-3 format, while Beyblade X features single-competitor matches. Both offer ₱20,000 prize pools.


Registration Details Open to walk-ins, but slots fill quickly. Advanced registration recommended through the Cyberzone website or SM Malls Online app.
