The Bureau of Treasury (BTr) said it raised P15 billion Monday with the auction of three months, six months, and one year Treasury bills (T-bills).
The government IOUs was 4.1 times oversubscribed at P61.9 billion, with the P5 billion 91-day T-bills attracting P11.58 billion; the P5 billion 182-day T-bills attracting P12 billion; and the P5 billion P364-day T-bills attracting P23.27 billion.
The 91-day tenor fetched 4.152 percent in coupon; the 182-day T-bills fetched 4.875 percent in coupon; and the 364-day T-bills fetching 5.5354 percent in coupon.
The Auction Committee fully awarded bids for Treasury bills (T-bills) at today’s auction. The 91-, 182-, and 364-day T-bills fetched average rates of 4.152 percent, 4.875 percent, and 5.5354 percent, respectively, all lower than previous auction rates and secondary market rates.
