Solaire North opens May 25

Bloomberry Resorts Corp. said it will open its Solaire Resort North casino complex by May 25.

The $1-billion facility in Quezon City is expected to solidify Solaire’s position as a leader in luxury entertainment, while offering an elevated resort experience to clientele in the metropolis’ northern areas, the company said.

“We are currently running simulations to make sure that all aspects of the property – from interior finishes to gaming equipment and service – are at the highest levels of quality. Solaire Resort North will introduce our signature five-star brand of gaming leisure entertainment to a broader market within the country and elevate the regional competitiveness of the Philippine gaming industry,” said Enrique Razon, Bloomberry chairman, speaking to shareholders Thursday.

“Putting Bloomberry far ahead of the competition, our trifecta of offerings – Solaire in Entertainment City, Solaire Resort North, and Solaire Online – places us in a very strong position to take advantage of increasing demand for gaming entertainment in the Philippines and within the Asia-Pacific region,” he added.

At 1.5 hectares, Solaire Resort North will be the only luxury resort with five-star facilities and amenities in Quezon City, Bloomberry earlier said.

It boasts of 526-key hotel rooms and suites, 2,669 electronic gaming machines and 163 tables across four casino levels.

It will also offer culinary experiences through its signature restaurants, including contemporary Italian cuisine at Finestra Italian Steakhouse, fresh Japanese delicacies at Yakumi, authentic Chinese fare at Red Lantern and casual dining options featuring regional Filipino, Asian and international flavors. Bars and lounges offer a wide selection of spirits and cocktails.

Razon said the next few years present a compelling case for growth for the company.

“The Philippine economy, from which we derive most of our revenue and profitability, is estimated by the Government to grow between 6 to 7 percent in 2024 and between 6.5 to 7.5 percent in 2025,” he said.

“We also anticipate to benefit from the improving inbound visitation as the World Tourism Organization sees the recovery of tourism in the Asia-Pacific region to accelerate towards pre-pandemic levels in 2024,” Razon added.
