Metro Retail Stores Group grew its reported net income in the first half of the year by 45.7 percent, to P146.3 million from P100.41 million.
Sales grew 4.4 percent, to P18.8 billion from P18.01 billion.
The company which operates the chain of department stores and supermarkets, posted a 2.8 percent increase in sales.
