ACEN, Indonesian firm form JV

ACEN Corp. will explore more renewable energy projects in Indonesia after its subsidiary, ACEN Indonesia Investment Holdings Pte Ltd. signed a shareholders’ agreement with PT Dewata Megaenergi.

In a disclosure to the Philippine Stock Exchange yesterday, ACEN said the agreement signed last Friday will lead to the establishment of joint venture JV platform, PT Dewata ACEN Renewables Indonesia.

ACEN said the platform will explore potential projects utilizing wind, solar and battery technologies.

The company said the partnership is still in its early and exploratory stages.

Last August, ACEN Indonesia Investment Holdings Pte. Ltd. also formed PT Puri Prakarsa Batam, a JV company with PT Trisuya Mitra Bersama that will focus on large-scale solar power plants, battery energy storage system and green hydrogen.

ACEN targets to own 20 gigawatts renewable energy capacity by 2030.-Jed Macapagal
