President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. in his State of the Nation Address (SONA) on Monday called on the business community to invest in the Philippines, vowing stronger support for key industries and micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Marcos said the government remains committed to developing the country’s manufacturing, electronics and other industrial sectors to make the Philippines more competitive.
He also pledged to expand access to financing for small businesses, noting that the government would continue offering low-interest, no-collateral loans to help MSMEs launch and grow their operations.
