Fruitas Holdings Inc. expects to further boost its topline and bottomline with the addition of the Ling Nam brand to its portfolio.
Lester Yu, Fruitas chief executive officer, expressed optimism about Ling Nam’s expansion in the casual and formal dining space this year.
Yu said Fruitas’ entry into the Asian casual dining space through Ling Nam will diversify its revenue base.
Fruitas has opened three new Ling Nam stores in Quezon City, Caloocan City, and Makati City.
Since its acquisition of Ling Nam in March last year, Fruitas launched Ling Nam Express, Ling Nam Noodle Bar, and Ling Nam Fried Siopao.
As of February 6, Ling Nam had 34 stores.
Fruitas is executing several initiatives to maximize synergies with Ling Nam. Among these initiatives are the sale of products from Fruitas’ other brands in Ling Nam restaurants, opening of kiosks and stalls under the Ling Nam brand, and the sale of Ling Nam products alongside the group’s other brands in digital channels.
